I seem to be having trouble uploading at a high resolution. Either the computer tells me the file is too big or when I look at it at the site it looks bad. What am I doning wrong? I do a 8.5 by 11 page and they print fine. If I change it to email it is poor. If I upload it directly sometime it is too big. Help. I honestly have tried to find it on the site but haven't. I did learn one trick. I put the information as to what kits I use off the page so when it is time to upload I won't forget anyone. I have had such fun this past week with everyones amazing kits.

susan the size limit for this site is 125k so anything over that won't load and a photo 8.5 x 11 should be way way more than that to get a decent print, make a copy of what you want to upload and change the longest side to around 600px and the dpi to 72 then use save for web to get it down to the 125k needed :)
Hope this helps if you have any trouble there is a tutorial here

yep, resizing it to smaller dimensions will allow it to be small and still have decent quality. About 600px is the size that most can view the whole thing on their monitor at once w/o scrolling down, and you can get it under 100kb with nice quality

From your gallery, your photos are the right size (about 600px), but your image quality is really low, like 30kb (or 30,000 bytes). You want them to be closer to 100kb (100,000 bytes). Larger file means less compression and better image quality (less blocky pixellation)

let us know if that helps
