hi, my name's aimee and i'm just getting going with digital scrapping. i used to paper scrap, but very elementary in my style. now with all my digital pictures, i found i never print so i'm hoping digital will at least give my pictures a better story for years to come, even if i never print them, lol!

right now i'm using a very old version of macromedia fireworks. i have a sample of PSP X on my computer right now, but it scares me... everytime i attempt to do something, it locks up my computer, so i've been sticking to what's familiar!

hopefully you get your PSP issues sorted out soon. Make sure you're scrapping at pixels per INCH rather than pixels per CENTIMETER (change that in the File>New dialog box). That makes the software run so slowly if you're doing 200 or 300 ppcm. If you want to scrap in metric, then use 80-100ppcm instead (I think Meryl knows more about this ;) )

FW does some great stuff too, though it's harder to find tutorials for it since the PSP and Adobe programs are more typical choices for digital scrapping. One of our designers uses FW a lot.

You'll be amazed how good your layouts look printed, so after you get a few done take a stab at that! Welcome to DSP!
