Uploading my layouts or pictures

I just uploaded a picture and a layout for the first time and they are both blurry when I look at them in my gallery. They are not blurry when I look at them in PSE4 so I must be saving them incorrectly for the web. Can someone tell me how to upload my pictures so they are not blurry?

Are you using the "save for web" option? If so is it set for "high" before you down size it?

I use the save for web option but I have it set for low. If I change it to high will that stop the pictures from being blurry?

It should help. I forgot to set it once and my picture was horrible.

Now it wouldn't upload. It said that it exceeded the file size to be able to upload.

Make sure you change the size also I use 400X400 pixels.

:confused: Thanks, I tried and it worked. I actually had changed the size the first time but I forgot to "apply" the changes.:confused: :confused: :confused:

You know I went back and looked at the pictures again and it is still blurry. So, I went back and uploaded from the original. I had made changes, like removing the boat in the background. Anyway the original looks better. (You can see the difference if you look in my gallery) I don't understand what the difference would be but your advice seems to have worked on all of the other pictures. Thanks, again.

Glad you figured it out. The one that you think is still not clear. (they all look good to me) did you crop it a bunch? Sometimes I find if I crop my photo too much it gets that fuzzy look.
