Right now I am in the middle of a computer crisis - in the process of doing an upgrade, all sorts has gone wrong and I can see that I won't make the chat Thursday. Please can I ask that whoever sees this message goes to the chat room to give my apologies? Thanks so very much....... and again so sorry.

I totally understand. Been there, done that, but lived to tell the tale and learned a lot that I wish I hadn't had to learn. Good luck with it all, and I hope you get it all straightened out very soon.

Oh my! Sounds like you are having my luck. My turn was last week - why I didn't get a page done in time for your first add-on to Basic Basic! I am also taking a class and I couldn't get my stuff done. But everyone was very supportive! I can so relate. Hope it gets better for you real soon!

only on a computer scrapping site would the members be so understanding and supportive of computer issues!! :D we can all relate so well!

Thank you all so much for your messages of understanding.... LOL Margie, yes we alll know the pain! It really was a bit of a computer week from hell, there were moments when I wondered just how much would be saves. However thanks to Margy (friend and computer support) who was having sleepless nights and Meryl type early mornings over it, and my dear, dear Ray, who spent the whole of Saturday loading, sorting and general fixing I'm back up and running.
Nothing is all bad though - I now have a beautiful, beautiful 19" flat screen monitor, a 4 x bigger C drive and lots more speed.....
Other good things:
Margy and her friend have joined DSP and both seem so excited at the idea of digi scrapping
My freezer is defrosted and filled with yummy home made stuff :) :) :)
and my office has been cleaned top-to-toe and dejunked!
Once again, sorry to have missed the chat, but see you all next week :0

Oh Meryl it is so SO good to have you back. We all missed you so much. It sounds like even though it was H-E- double hockey sticks ...it was still well worth it. It sounds like you got A LOT accomplished and a brand new computer to boot. CONGRATS! Just in time for CIJ! Tell Margy and Ray thanks from us too! We are all happy to have our wonderful Meryl back here at DSP! YAY! :D :) :p
