Whew! CIJ is all a whirlwind, but I thought I'd have a nice cool soothing challenge for you to think about so you can REST a minute afterward!

Tis color scheme time again! This challenge runs from now until August 11, two weeks.

This time I am looking for a color scheme to suit Back to School. I'm not thinking sports, so no team colors. Just standard school stuff like desks and lockers and books. I'm gearing it toward junior high and high school age, and I have my list of elements all ready to begin making but no color scheme yet! So put it to me! Maybe about five colors that represent what you would use to scrap a school page.

Just as in all the Show Me Your Colors challenges, if I pick your set of colors, you win the kit, and usually before it is even in the store.

Thanks!

Edit: I just realized I didn't post the gallery link for the color schemes. See how distracting CIJ was?

Post your color schemes in the Color Scheme Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=2379)

But no need to move the ones you've posted below as of today, Monday July 31 - I'll remember to look here to see them.

How about a gray color since most school walls are that color

Could someone tell me how to put the color bars here? I know this can't be hard, but never did it before LOL!

Anyways:

Chocolate Brown
Medium Orange
Medium Blue blue jeans
Bright Lime Green (reminds me of fluorescent markers)
Bright Med. Pink " " "

Saw these colors in a JCPenney ad for h.s./dorm fall colors!

Somehow I did that wrong.

Dingy Red
Smokey Blue
Slate Blue
Faded Brown
Bleached Khaki

I know, I always over do everything.
These colors really remind me of rough and ready teens. Since most of them seem to ( know it all) I thought the colors suited. I remember the days. Boy was I a brat sometimes.

Not sure how to tell you what colors these are (if you know what I mean *lol*). These are colors that I have seen in every school I have ever been involved with...yellow in pencils, school buses, etc....black notebooks, backpacks, buses, etc....gray lockers, red and blue notebooks (as well as very common school colors).

This is a set of colours from my son's high school. The school is spread over 3 campuses and they each have a uniform using different assortments of these colours. :)

Here are my colors. I got the numbers from my color picker in PSE4. I hope those are the correct numbers for the colors. http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=121127&cat=2379

I don't know if we were allowed to do more than one but after I made my first one here - http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=122044&cat=2379 I realized it was so muted that I am not sure I would want to use it with my daughters preschool picture. So I decided to surf the net and find what colors clothes were coming out this fall season and use those colors. It ended up being colors I thought went well with back to school and could be used with pencils and books but still would be very fun so here it is... http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=122043&cat=2379

If I could only do one then I would keep the second one. Let me know.
