Can someone please tell me how to change the color of text (or a flower, non-text, etc) of a .png file using PSP7? I know how to turn the whole black image white but that's it. Is there a tutorial on it - I looked and didn't see one. I also thought I had seen a challenge a while back on altering word text but I couldn't find that one either. And if I change the image white, it will still keep its transparency, right? When I was experimenting last night I actually turned the whole image (not just the text), but the whole opened image white....sigh. Love that undo button...

I know this is an easy procedure and don't understand why I can't find it....I would sooo appreciate help! This place is awesome - I can't wait to get off of work and go home and scrap!

Thank you!!!

Kari, I am sure you will be able to. I'm not familiar with PSP but I did find this for you:

http://www.mardiweb.com/web/psp7/colorpalette/colorpalette.htm

In Photoshop, when changingg from black to a colour I would:
Image > adjustments > Hue and saturation
Check Colorize

Because its black, the saturation would need to be increased and the the image lightened with the sliders.

Its a matter of playing with these sliders to hget the colour of your hearts desire :)

Hopefully, someone with PSP & could jump in?
