I will no longer be particapting in the Gimme each week. Thanks to all who have bought my products for Gimme in the last few months. I appreciate it and really enjoyed being a part of Gimme.

Thanks to lauren for her invitation to join her as well.

I hope you'll join me for Freebs (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=333)!

I'm looking forward to continuing in your Freebs challenges. Just wish I could stay awake for the chats. I hate it every time I see the neat chat freebies I miss.

Could you make freebs a little earlier now that all the chats are leaving and freeing up space? I always did the Gimme because the time slot was earlier than freebes... And I'm sorry that Gimme is going... but I guess all the good things that we are getting around here have to come to an end... I was feeling that we were getting way too much free stuff and I guess that it's time that this site makes some money!! Anyway... I want to say a heart felt thank you for all the generous kits that you have given us for free over the past year!!!

I tried to make Freebs earlier, but the time slot has already been claimed! I'm sorry :(

Tina - I don't know how you've been able to keep up the pace you have for so long, so although I am disappointed, I can't say I'm surprised that this word art portion of Gimme is being suspended...especially since you now have your own chat...Freebs. I'll still be a Freeber...

I was so loving this. This was my intro to using word art and I am thankful for that. Never realized what I could do with it instead of sitting there tongue-tied wondering what to write. If you want educational and inspirational, there it was. If a designer needs to moderate the workload, that's perfectly acceptable, but that's not my understanding of events. Tina and all the designers have been so responsive, responsible, and prompt in the way they have handled the chats and the bonuses. They are admirable, able and talented.

On the other hand, we are still wondering what wonderful new something is the impetus behind the loss of such successful, well-run activities. The calendar is not informative-no updates there. Can't find anything in the forum except pep-talk that we'll love it. I'd love to love it; however, as time goes by I am revisiting other scrapbook sites and they have some interesting products and activities. Couldn't resist temptation, so I spent some of my budget on their kits.

Looks like Monday will have no chat offering for me at DSP, so I'm trying other scrapbook places. Thursday looks like a migraine-producing madhouse. Wonder if I can run two instances of DSP chat simultaneously? NOT! Going to have to forgo another of my favorites. RATS!

I had marveled at the ingenuity of the marketing here at DSP. Members were scrambling over themselves to help design the kits and then buying scads of them (at a premium price point) week after week. Gotta be a retailer's dream. Are they smoking wacky weed up there in the board room? Maybe that's why there are no meaningful updates forthcoming.
