I too use The Font Thing, it can be found here http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html
It is an old program but it is still a great program, and best of all it is free. Because it is old there are some bugs when it comes to trying to install fonts within the program itself, it's not really compliant with any of the XP versions when it comes to this. It is great, however, to use for browsing fonts installed and ones you may have downloaded. It's a pretty light program and is not resource intensive like other font applications tend to be. Oh and did I mention it's free? :)

Font thing is by far the best and free! I used it when I was a web developer, long before I started digiscrapping.
there's a tutorial for using The Font Thing in the Campus section too, check it out to get familiar with some cool features
I notice it crashes on me sometimes, but when my computer is happy TFT seems to perform better. It's a minor issue for a handy little tool!
