My Turn!!! My Turn!!!

Yippee!!!! Yippee!!! Almost immediately after receiving the good news about the latest DET Round, I got an e-mail from Simple Scrapbooks Digital Scrapbooking. How much good news can one girl get?!!! (Now, if only my CSET exam and dance performance this weekend will go so well!).

Anyway - I digress - but I'm excited so I can't help it.

The layout they selected was my One Perfect Moment (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=117364&cat=500&ppuser=17916)that I made for Paula's Wedding Challenge using Stacey's Benediction Kit and Blessing Kit (and the frame from Meryl's Raewyn's Wedding Kit). It is still in my gallery for now but I shall be taking it down soon. (Yes!!! I get to go get the "removed for publication" logo now!)

Luckily for me, Paula was gracious enough to give her permission for me to submit this layout featuring one of her wedding photos. So thanks thanks thanks Paula for the great challenge and the permission. And thanks Stacey and Meryl for the wonderful elements.

Oh Tara!!!!!!!!!! Yay for you! I LOVED that layout! well, still do...*lol* but I'm so glad to hear that someone else loved it too, and you're getting published! Now I'm curious...did they go strolling through and just pick it out, or did you submit?

Hubby REALLY liked that layout too (wow, he said, she took out of bounds to a whole new level - how very thoughtful and creative - why didn't you pick that one for your top ten). :D ;) Great job Tara!!! I got the magazine a couple days ago at B&N... I loved this layout so much I showed it to my DH and he was very impressed as well... a tough thing to accomplish! A VERY cool technique that I can't wait to try! Congratulations!
