Very First Page - for the Heritage week challenge

Hi! I decided to get in on the Heritage week challenge with my first scrapbook page. I'm liking it so far, but I feel like maybe there's a little too much negative space or something. It just doesn't seem "finished", you know?

So if anyone has some advice on finishing touches, I'd appreciate it! I've been using the Antique Rose and As Time Goes By kits from the heritage selection. Unfortunately, I only bought those two and the butterfly overlays, so I'm pretty limited in allowed elements on this one!

I've also started a second one already! This one is a bit simpler, partly because if I have any hope at hitting the challenge numbers I can't keep spending as much time as I did on the first page, but also because it's actually looking nice with a very basic layout. I'm going to think it over tonight, though, so I'm posting it as a draft, and would welcome some concrit!
