What One Thing--Fandango Style

Last week after our Fandango chat we started commenting about the hope of receiving comments that would help improve our layouts. From that Paula started the "What One Thing" thread in the main forum.

Well, since the idea was kind of 'born' in the Fandango I thought we would borrow it and do "What One Thing-Fandango Style".

So here is the drill.....

Make a layout (or use a layout you have already made and posted) and post a link here. If it is already a freestyle layout ask others, "What one thing would improve this layout?" or if you want you can post a link to a more traditional layout that you might want to make more 'fandangoish' :p In that case, ask, "What can I do to this layout to make it fit in the fandango?"

Have fun with this everyone, don't worry about being nervous when asking for suggestions or when offering them. The idea is that we learn from one another by sharing our creative ideas with each other. Got it?!!

Okay my Fandango friends, Kristen has posted a layout asking for some fandango suggestions....I've given her some ideas....check out her layout and see if there is anything you would add to make her layout more fandangoish. ;)

And if you have a layout you want us to look at and make suggestions on, post a link here.

Okay, I have one.. this is a remake of a LO that I did for the ARtist in Me contest - it is a completely different LO from my original - totally different so I won't even post the 1st one.. but would love any feedback/cc that you think I might need to do to make this look better.. thanks!

Oh Debb... I am so sorry. I have been .. well maybe I should make a fnadango layout about it! LOL! that should help me to deal with things better. I will try to come up with something this weekend. LOVE this idea!!

Hi Debb, Suz, and my fellow fandango-ers!! I'm sorry I've been slightly MIA here in the Fandango. I've been obsessing over the DET contest... LOL! I'm off to comment after I finish this post.

Here's one from me.... it's a double page layout I did using the very gorgeous LeBeau kit by Lisa Carter and Stacey Jewell Stahl. I do like the layout but intended to make it more FANDANGO-EY and didn't quite think get there... LOL! Thanks for looking and for cc.

EEEEKKKK. I don't like putting up stuff I don't like, but I have been encouraged by Marylin's Mommy to put it up and get some help. SO here is mine. I do not like it at all. I don't like the quote. I don't like the word art (there is none and should be some). It is just NOT doing what I want it to. So HOPEFULLY I can do like MM did and get a layout that is much better. This was also my first attempt at glitter.

Ok, this layout was done with the last Fandango challenge in mind as well as Renes challenge, but I was too late finishing for Fandango!!:o
Anyhow, I'd love some ideas on what would improve this, there is something amiss!! It all looks too 'messy' to me somehow?

Hi everyone, I havnt been at a fandango chat yet, but I keep seeing the blinkies, and layouts, and had to check out the forum! I must say I Love the "look" of the freestyle stuff you guys do, and I have a LO for the WOT... its one Im doing for the NKOTB contest, when I started I wanted it to be kind of freestyle, but I don't know if it even is? so WOT could I do??? or two or three lol??

Also, the way this challenge works, do we have to attend chat? And also I read somewhere about specific kits being chosen for the challenges, is that the way it works? or do we do a LO of our choice kit, I cant seem to find the forum with the general rules/details of this challenge...
