First Challenge: What's Your Sign - the Zodiac Challenge

Do a LO incorporating the Zodiac. They can be of you, your children, family, friends, even your boss or pets. Better still, do one for each one of your family! Include journaling, if you wish, to compare to you or your subject's - do they match? Are they spot-on or dead wrong? Do this for your Book of Me or just for pure FUN! You can do Western Zodiac or Chinese Zodiac or other Zodiacs we may not be aware of! Post as many LOs as you wish - we would love to see them all! Important thing is to have fun and show us What your Sign is!!!

DEADLINE: You have till Oct 22 (Sun) Midnight EST to post your LOs.

In the chinese zodiac I've learned I am a horse, hubby is a dog and kids are everything under the sun. I love the chinese zodiac wordart too. Now I just have to chose which one I want to scrap.

I am not all that familiar with all the zodiac stuff...does the animal thing somehow fit into this stuff (you know the year of the monkey, dragon, etc.)? I only ask beacuse I my husband and I shouldn't be together at all according to what we have seen and I would love to do something along those lines.

handkl... you have it right :) The astrological signs such as Aries are probaby more familiar but the Chinese zodiac is so fun and interesting with all the different animals based on the year of your birth instead of the month. Here are a couple of sites that will calculate which one you are and the characteristics for each.

Oh woe woe I'm having Internet woes :( This is about the first time since chat that I've managed to stay in DSP for 3 mins without getting kicked out!

Hey guys, you know how Austrelia and some other places are like a day ahead of us. How does it go with China? Anyone know? I always looked up and was quite pleased to think I was born the year of the dog, but with this new info I would be a rooster, hmmm, I guess it's ok but prefer being the dog, I'm like right on the border line date wise so I'm trying to cheat :( what??? Atleast I'm being honest, lol

Figured since Chinese invented the Chinese Zodiacs (assuming don't kill me if I'm wrong) then why not chance it in thinking this was based on their time zone.

Hmm...interesting question, Dee.. I'm no expert that's for sure but I do think you have to base it on your own time zone. That would make more sense cos this depends on the stars and the moons and whatnot (I presume) and your moonrises, etc are different times from China.. So sorry, but you are probably a Rooster! Suz, there are a few types of Zodiac symbols. These are one of the most representative of them and also since Lauren's Zodiac kit has the pictorial symbols, we decided to use totally different symbols from hers. Hope that clears it up?
