I guess I'd like "the rest of the story"....I didn't see the email until 45 minutes into the chat. I've been trying for 15 minutes to get in and can't even get the registration page to upload!

So what happened?

BTW, I was thrilled there was a chat tonight! Thanks DSP for continually having opportunities for us to get together and hone our skills!

Mine wouldn't load either: hit Refresh until it loads

Then RE-register and LOG in

also, must download the Flash Player to see it

Should be lots of fun in there now!

awesome chat room!! I had to use IE to get in though, and it isn't my normal browser. does anyone else use netscape? I couldn't get anything to load with netscape. Just curious if anyone else had this problem

I tried both netscape & IE and could not get the room to load. I downloaded the newest version of Flash Player also. In IE it is stuck on loading skin 2%. I have tried refresh many times. Any suggestions?

I am using IE and have yet to be able to even register. I do have flash installed on my computer. It gets to the place where it says "Loading rooms" and stalls out. There is no place to register on the screen. I've tried refreshing a dozen times.

What should I do?

Do you have the latest version of flash? A few people found they needed to reinstall it.

Here's an off-the-wall suggestion. This is the same chat software that SBB uses. How about going over there and registering for their chat room (loyal DSPers don't have to stay there!!! LOL!!) and then come back here to try this one. I was already all set up over there and had NO problems registering for this one here.

Dunno it it'd help at all - just an idea . . .

Our chat is hosted on our own servers. We use the same chat, but just because you may be able to get in there doesn't necessarily mean you can here.

I tried several times last night to get into the chat. All I ever got was the page you get when you navigate to chat - and it remained blank. This morning it stalls on loading the chat rooms. Tried refreshing several times. Just tried the SBB chat room and had no problems there.

the chat room is now working! please let us know if you have any problems with it. it is also hooked up to our database, so no need to register. just login using the same information you do to login to the forums.

After a little stutter, the chat rooms DID come up, but I don't see Lauren's impromptu 4:00 EST chat.

Her art inspired chat was actually yesterday. I think it's on the wrong day in the calendar. We'll blame it on the daylight savings time issue with the southern hemisphere! And we'll try to catch it earlier next time too. :) But all events will be in the main room for future reference! :)
