Fandango Challenge Beginning 10/18

Hi everyone....Suz and I have come up with what we hope is a fun new challenge. Given that we are getting close to the Christmas season we thought we would use our challenge as a way to inspire you to start working on those Christmas presents early. (Who says we Fandango girls can't be efficient?!!! :D )

Soooooooooo.......Suz and I are issuing a challenge for you to use the next four weeks to create a Fandango Album that you can either keep for yourself or give to someone special as a gift.

For week number one our challenge is for you to create a Fandango Title page for your album. Use any of the items from any of Suz's new kits:

And......for the eager beavers in our group who want to get a jump start on next week's challenge......

We challenge you to create as many freestyle layouts as you want for your album BUT each layout MUST HAVE FANDANGO JOURNALING!! And, you need to use product from any of the kits listed above.

So, you might be asking, what in the world is Fandango journaling? Well, as you know freestyle layouts love to have fun with text so when you do your journaling....have fun....mix and match fonts, use alphas, use hand written fonts, journal on a path.....all that fun stuff we have been learning over the past months.

ok....well here is a cover page....since I'm still learning I thought i'd do a book about my fandango pages...new ones of course...and then I thought since you used the months...I would make them kinda abstract, and use pictures i've taken of various things during those months...so here is to a very random cover page...may and maynot stick with the idea...but here is my first go...

Yes, lvg! The site has been incredibly slow today...particularly the gallery. It seems like the forums load OK and the store and DSU seem fine, too. But the gallery is PAINFULLY slow today!

Well, since I didn't get an answer. here is my second page. This was VERY difficult for me as I am such an emotional person. I cry at Hallmark commercials!! And I hope that this counts as fandango journaling. I did different stuff with the text. But I still wanted it to have a very victorian feel. So hopefully it counts for fandango - you will let me know right Suz and Debb??

Still not sure about how to make the title stand out. What do you think?

No worries, girls!!! don't worry if you're sick or busy, or have company!!! Don't we ALL know how that goes!!!! I've just had a creative BLOCK lately so I totally know what you mean.........! BUT, we want everyone to complete their album, so everyone will win......... ;) Wink - just do what you can, and enjoy the process!!! To get the bonus, by the end of our challenge (and you still have 3 weeks), you must have completed all the steps. Can anyone confirm that the challenge is still a title page and 4 pages of journalling or did the time extension add further pages to the challenge? Just want to make sure I am working on the right things.
