Canon has a huge new Rebate on the D Rebel!!

In case any of you are shopping for a DSLR, Canon just started a new rebate program, applicable to the DRebel and lower models (not on the higher pro models).
If you buy the Rebel, and any other 2 canon lenses--you get $300 off the camera!! With the street price right now around $800 (with basic lens)--that's a steal. The rebate form is kind of confusing, but it appears that you also get rebates on each lens too.

I was wavering between the DRebel and the Nikon D70, but I think this new rebate just made my decision for me. You can't find the D70 below $1199. So after the new Canon rebate, the DRebel is less than half the price.

Dont get me jealous Roseanne - companies just dont offer the type of rebates here that you all get in the US - Ive been hovering around the camera stores lately - but I will just have to be patient I think - too many other calls on my money!!

Oh, would love it if they offered the rebate here. I've been looking at the rebel for a while now and am now nearly in the position that I can afford it. But.... I then had a look at the canon website and found the new D20, looks fantastic!! I should never have looked because I now want that!! ;)
