Has anyone tried a program called Digital ScrapRoom? Its supposed to organize all your scrapbook supplies neatly and is also supposed to have a feature that keeps tract of each thing you use in a LO and youo can then print out or save the materials list so when you post a layout you have all the products you used. I think I may like this program but was wondering if anyone had actually USED it.

Don't have it, but that does sound like a handy utility to have.

I've got it and love it! I love that I can all my supplies organized by color, type, designer, site... all at the same time. I actually haven't purchased a page kit since I bought the software because I discovered I have so much stuff already, and I really don't need anything else! The supplies used list isn't great right now, but a bunch of us have suggest some features on the forum, and I think the programmers are working on them for the next update.

Marilyn's Mommy,
Do you have any problems with it? Bugs or anything like that? Are the features as great as they say on the web site?

I personally haven't noticed any bugs, but with any new software, some do pop up. I really been impressed with the customer service though. If you notice any bugs or want to suggest features, just post them on their forum, and the admin is quick to reply.
Getting everything organized is taking some time, but it's well worth the effort. I love being able to look at all my ribbons or earth toned papers and pick out the perfect piece. It is really fun to be able to piece a page together instead of just using what came in the kit, and I've already saved a lot of money by not needing new kits (I don't really want any of my pages to look the same so I've been getting a new kit for every page for the most part)
In the forum on their website you can read what people have complained about and what people wish it would do in detail. I personally think they are off to a great start, and they are really going to have an incredible product pretty soon if they continue to listen to their customers they way they have been.

Thanks! Sounds like it is really a good product. It will probably organize my kits and things better than I have them organized right now. Now, I just have a folder in My Documents labeled Scrapbook Stuff. Inside that folder I have all the individual folders --- kits, ploppers, papers (by color). fibers, ribbons, etc. Its kind of hard right now to put together a page unless I use all elements in one kit. I like to pick from several different kits so I get a page that is unique each time. I am so new at digital scrapbooking -- only about 6 weeks or so. I have been paper scrapping since around 1995.
Think I will order this program today!:)

Be glad you are getting organized now instead of waiting LOL. I'm still working on getting everything in-- I have over 150 kits to do still! I've been working on it for a while going in alpha order and I am to the "E's"!

OMG! You must end every day with a headache! My son thought it was funny last night. I have only about 30 kits and some strau elements so it shouldn't be too hard to organize them. I was worried about having enough space on the drive for all the downloads and as he picked himself up off the floor from laughing he showed me how much space I have. GIGABYTES! As you can tell, I am not too computer savy!
BTW - just ordered DSR and the download code should show up tomorrow!

I have spent days....no, weeks...wait, months..organizing an excel workbook with thumbnail photos of my files. Now I stumble across this program! Yikes! I think I will download this today and give it a try.
