View Full Version : Home Studio Equipment
I am considering purchasing equipment for a home studio (family photos only). My dh spotted this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130042007029&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:2
Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal or any information about the equipment quality, etc.?

I don't know the manufacturers at all, if you could check up on them and they are any good then this is a great deal :)

I don't know much about studio equipment but here is another begginners kit to look at for a decent price:

I did not read the one you are looking at, but make sure that the actual lights come with it, not just the stands.
Thank you both for your input. My dh emailed some individuals who had previously purchased and left feedback. Most said the backdrops were cheap, but that is not a problem because I wasn't going to use their backdrops anyway. One or two commented that the casings for the equipment was cheap plastic and might not be good if it was going to be moved a lot or otherwise treated roughly. They all said that overall they were very pleased with their purchase.
Sooo ... we ordered it and I am awaiting its arrival.
