Every year I make my grandchildren a pillow case of their year in pictures. I use pictures with maybe just a little embelishment, a whole scrapbook page, notes they have written to me, drawings, whatever has made their year. I put these on a pillow case along with their name and the year. They look forward to these every year. Just a a thought that I wanted to share. I now have 10 grandkids - a lot harder than when there were 4 or 5 but I create the pages throughout the year so in the end, it is a matter of printing it out on transfer paper and making them. They love cojmparing the years past with the new ones. Each year I get a little better at the compositioin. Hope you enjoy this. sherrie

I just got a new large format printer. anyone think I can stick the whole pillow case through the printer. Have any of you tried to print on fabric? Just one of those wild weird brain moments - what do you think?:eek:

Wow - sounds awesome Sharon. Not sure about sticking the pillowcase through the printer - I would check with the manufacturer first!!

Love the idea. I have done something similar for my father. He is a truck driver and on the road quite a bit and misses out on a lot of activities during the year. One year I made a collage pillow case with all of our pictures on it so when he stopped driving for the day, we were all with him in his bunk when he was ready to go to bed. We are the last thing he sees before he sleeps and the first thing he sees when he wakes up. He has even shown it to some of his friends out on the road.

Kodak easyshare has pillowcases! :) I got one already as a gift and it looks exactly as the preview showed. Really cool! Washable, cotton, and will be a neat surprise.
