Week 2 of our BIG CHALLENGE!!

Okay, If I miss you in chat tonight, I want to be sure to let you all know that we're extending our week 2 challenge................ JOURNALING!!!

Your task for this second of 4 weeks (ummm five, now), is to journal your hearts out. Seriously. I want you really to take time with this. I don't care if you finish one page or 12 (hopefully 12!), but I want to see you really journal and use the fandango style to let out that creative stuff!!!

Ask yourself questions about your photo/layout: What feelings does it evoke? What were the sights, smells, sounds of that moment that linger with you? Why do you want to get all this down?

It doesn't have to be super profound or life-changing. It can be funny, irreverent, or just YOU. You can use a letter form, so write a letter to your "subject", or you can record your feelings in another way, but RECORD THEM!

And, remember our fandangolicious style stuff!!! Multiple fonts, funky sizing, curves, out of bounds typography! Writing on photos, writing on otherwise un0writable embellishments...... Write write write!!! :)

Link your layout here (and link your title page layouts in the first week's challenge thread). And remember; you do need to complete each task to get a great addon bonus (which I am slaving over - I hope you love it). And use something from the Simple Things collection (see the title page challenge thread for most of the items, or check my new products in the store).

Most importantly, you MUST have fun with this - that's an order!!! Enjoy!!!

Hey! I missed chat tonight but I'm raring to get back to my album! I had a pretty busy weekend and this week hasn't started much better! I'm having so much fun with this mega-challenge. I've taken the theme of "advice to my niece" and it's really made me stop and think about my journaling.

I know that this doesn't qualify for this weeks challenge, but I wanted you all to see what I have been doing in DSU 292 (overlays). I am posting this here because Suz wrote the lesson and I am using her FAB layouvers from the lesson! I also used her DSP Lemon Meringe font that is just way too cool!

Question...for the rest of this album, do we need to stick to products on the list you have given us, or can we use ANY of your products? I've made my title page so far...but I'm ready to start working on my journaling pages and don't want to break the rules. ;) ;)

To clarify...what if I do a page that uses another product of yours and NOT one of those on the list? is that okay?

HEY, my girlfriend!!! I'd rather see you use things that are on the list....... HOWEVER, the list keeps growing...... And my main concern is that your album is cohesive - that it "looks" like it all was meant to go together - does that make sense? So, if you have questions about specific items, will you email me? That way we can be sure you qualify? :) How's that for not-really-answering......?
