I would like someone to make a "Christian Kit". I realize that there are several different ones in the store and I have most of them. :D I would like to have one that has different Christian symbols specifically a Bible. Thanks for considering my request. :)

I know someone who made one, I used it for a layout I did and I believe the DSP members name is in the description

Do you have my Psalm 23 kit and Psalm of my Heart kit - and Tina's overlays and word art? Or my Benediction kit? Tina also has Psalm 121 word art and overlays. I have an 8x8 instant album called The Star of Christmas with verses from Luke and titles from Christmas hymns. Elizabeth has the Elements of Faith kits.

I will work on creating a Bible element and full kit. I have a couple of things on my to-do list to finish before-hand. Please let me know what you are interested in having in the kit.

Thanks! Stacey

Oh Stacey, that would be so wonderful. I have used photo copied religous symbols in the past, and would love to see them in a kit. I would love to see a vintage type bible, and a church/cathedral.

I, too, am always interested in more religous kits-I'd love some with symbols of the Holy Spirit ie: doves, fire, water, etc.

I would like a newer Bible, but I know some people would probably like an older Bible. I did wonder about the possibility of doing an "open Bible" where we could put the Psalm word art (or other things). I considered using the Juxtapose kit for this, but again I wanted a newer looking Bible. The things that Jena mentioned would be great along with a cross. I would like to see a kit with shades of blue and silver. I would also like to see more word art with scriptures along with general faith-based statements.

Also, I think a Jesus Loves Me kit for kids would be cute. You could have a boy and a girl silhouette praying, a smaller Bible, etc.

What I would love to see in the store is Bible verse word art, or papers with bible verses blended in the background. An open Bible would also be wonderful!

Know what I want to see? Just more posts like this! I love finding out how many of you are Christians out there and how many of you take your faith seriously. It is quite encouraging and makes me want to give you all a big hug (I want to hug ALL the DSPers..but especially you guys!). It is fun to get to know sisters in Christ all around the world!

This is a great idea. I am also looking for a christian kit, but for Holy Communion. One with a chalice and a host.

Many thanks

It has taken an age I know, but since I wanted it to be really special I have put a great deal of though into it :) I have attached the samples (kit & the add-on) as a preview. It is NOT yet in the store, probably only early in January, I will let you know when its there though, thanks for your patience!

I hope to develop it and add maybe confirmation, baptism, would LOVE suggestions about what you would like?

Meryl !! This is truly beautiful ..it gave me goosebumps ! You have captured the solemn and wonderful atmosphere that such a ceremony brings , without getting all serious about it . That gorgeous little church looks like the one in Graaf-Reniet ?You have done an amazing job and I think this will be a kit treasured by many delighted scrappers .
