DIP and Laser Cut Templates

I posted this in another place and it got a little lost. Can any diper's help me figure out how to use Stacey's laser templates? I use the magic wand and delete? ... I'm so confused :confused:

Hey, JoAnn, I always forget to check this forum! Here's what I do.

1. Open your new blank project.
2. Bring in the background that you want to show through the Laser Cut template from behind.
3. Bring in the Laser Cut template you want.
4. Open (but don't bring it into your layout) the BG that you want to use as the foreground of the template.
5. Switch back to your layout and use the magic wand to select the white portion of the template. (Be sure to uncheck "Contiguous" in the Selection box.)
6. In the Effects menu, click Fill with Color or Texture.
7. Click Fill with Picture.
8. On the right side of the screen, select the BG that you opened in Step 4.
9. Click Finish.

The BG should fill in the template and you'll see the BG from step 2 showing through the cutout portion of the template.
