Help

Can someone help me.I want to create a tag.I open up my new file in PSCS with a transparent background. Iuse my square selection tool and fill with the paintbucket then I try and access the filters but texture isnt an option.I tried rasterizing but thats not an option,what am I doing wrong?

Not sure if you have tried this but did you select the box? You can use the magic wand tool and just select the color part and then try the adding the texture? Also sometimes when I am working and have done some editing I need to click out of that layer or deselect and then go back to do the next step. THat is all I can think of.

if that's on your background layer, it'll be locked. just double click to make it an active layer. and club digital has some custom tag shapes you can use too! :)
