I have recently purchased the Pillow box template and kit and have made a practice one. My question is regarding the lines for cutting and folding - are they meant to show on the outside of the article like they are on my first effort or have I done something wrong? If they are not meant to be there, how do I know where to cut and fold? I can cut just slightly inside the solid lines and eliminate those but the dotted ones still show and I don't like the look of them. Have I suffered a "senior moment"? Hope this is not a dumb question:), even if it is could someone enlighten me please??

I think they are meant to show on the outside...that's how I made my first one. I read a post by someone (forget who) who said they print the design on one side of the paper and the template outline on the other. that way, the guidelines are inside the craft, instead of outside. That sounded like a good idea. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

reduce the opacity of the lines - you need them showing so that you know where to fold and score - but if you reduce the opacity then they are barely visible

The first couple projects I printed I left the lines on the outside, but I didn't really like having them show on the finished product. So I printed it without the lines, then flipped it over and printed just the lines on the back as a mirror image, that way they still line up and you know where to cut and fold, yet they don't show on the finished product. Hope that helps!! :)
