Our next chat is scheduled for Tuesday November 21st at 10:00pm EST!

I'll post the freebie I did for those of you at the chat in a minute.
Z will post the freebie she did for a posting bonus later today.

BUT . . . we're going to need *YOUR* help! Gather up your ideas of any computer craft ideas you will be giving as gifts. Take photos if you can so we can see them. Come to the chat and share them with us. Then I'll put together a list of all of our ideas to post! Then, we you struggling for a gift idea for Great Aunt Ethel, you can come here and get a great, personal, gorgeous, gift idea!!

I'm hoping to get our own gallery and forum but until then, just post links in this thread if you post a photo. Or just gather all your ideas and come to the chat and share them with everyone!

Hey, the holidays are coming - we all need all the help we can get!!

And if you come, I have a super cool calendar grid set that re-size really nicely. (plus a few papers thrown in because, well, I LOVE making papers!) Great idea for gifts!!

And Z has a super quick click as a posting bonus (details explained at the chat), with gorgeous stamped frames, and she's sized it perfectly so you can print them easily and inexpensively!

SO, mark your calenders and be there!!

And if you can't come, be sure to list your ideas in this thread and I'll compile one big list for all of us to see!!

*singsong voice* Calendar grids...... come and get...'em......! Make a set of monthly wallpaper for someone for Christmas! I did last year, for my husband and myself, and we've both been using them all year long!

There are loads of great calendar gift ideas in the store, too! Remember, with this chat we are pushing you to get your Christmas pressies done early! Except it's not so "early" any more! What are YOU doing!? Come share your ideas!

What a fantastic idea!!! Thank you so much! I already have a stack of bookmarks and 3 mini albums done for Xmas gifts, now if I can get this I will be able to make a set of wallpapers for the year and send it off on a cd to friends for the same postage as a card!!!
OK, now I just have to remember to give the kids bus money so I can be at the chat!! :)

Can't wait for tonight.

I've had the kids decorating their bookmarks, just need to visit a shop to get them laminated.

I'm so organised....and it's still 34 sleeps to Christmas.

I know it probably isn't very original, but for my mother in law, I am doing an 8x10 layout with her and her grandkids, then bringing it down to my local photo printing place (Walgreens, CVS, Walmart...) and having it put on a mouse pad for her work. She isn't supposed to have pictures in frames on her desk, so this way she still can have her pictures and not have a problem with her work.

Hmm I thought I've posted this question already..! I couldnt make it to the chat and I couldn't quite make out what the challenge is for the bonus? Is it just to post a photo of a gift suggestion??

No, Ann, we're urging anyone who has a stack of gifts to make (for Christmas or anything) to get it done, so the challenge was to make a layout or craft for someone.

Use any of Beth's mini albums you haven't already used in the store, or my Academics or Art Class Junior mini album if you haven't already used that for a bonus, or my new An Elegant Holiday kit to get the bonus. We won't mind if it's NOT for a gift for someone, we just were egging folks on who are working on making gifts this season.

Thanks!

Hi not sure If I am posting this in the right place or not, but noticed your looking for craft ideas for christmas presents, also not sure on the protocol of posting other websites on here either, so if i am doing something wrong please let me know! pleading total newbie status here.... :) anyhow the idea I have is for my Nieces, there are four of them who in the past twelve months have set up new homes with partners, so for them I have found A household notebook, that I will personalise for each of them, I have thought of "scrapping" the front cover to really give it that personal touch, for the inside I have found very useful pages on
http://www.organizedhome.com/printable/index.php which has printable pages on just about everything you need to run a house smoothly, from menu planners through to cleaning schedules, it sounds totally old fashioned I know, but even as a 15 year veteran to marriage I found some great pages that I will be using myself, sorry sounding like an advert now.... but anyhow I think it will be a great gift that they will love and use, if I manage to get one of the covers finished will post it in the gallery!....
Cheers.

Hey, thanks for those hummingbird291! It looks quite interesting enough to explore as soon as I can! I'm just scared I'll find stuff I should have been doing all along... lol.

As to other websites, as long as you are not promoting another digital scrapping webisite, it's all good. As a general courtesy digis don't promote ourselves on each others' sites, that's all. Thanks for sharing!

I've posted a photo of the stationary and business cards I made for my Mother. She loved having her own "business card" to give to new acquaintances to share address and email info. I included on it a photo of her favorite miniature home that she made.
