Freebs on Holiday...

I'll be moving in my new house soon and due to a major screw up by the phone company- i won't have a phone until Dec 11. After that they will give me dial up (on one line) until my DSL is ready on the 21st!!!!!!!!

WAHHHHHH..............

So, there will be no chat Nov 30 or Dec 7th. After that I'll have to let you know whats up!!

We can keep doing the forum polls if you like for the posting set or stop altogether right now.

What do you all think??

By the way, please pop in the other thread and make suggestions for this week :D :santa:

Tina, as much as I love you and your word art, I think you will be WAY to stressed out thinking you have to get some done while trying to move! Of course, I'm not one to talk, because I ALWAYS bite off more than I can chew, so I won't complain if you decide to do everything through the threads...;) ;)

I think you should concentrate on your move and take a break for a bit...now don't get me wrong...love the chats & challenges but think you need all your strength for the move but whatever you decide is fine with me.

Give yourself a break and concentrate on your exciting move! Having recently gone through a simple move compared to what is involved moving into a newly built house I can imagine all you have to do!

I think you should just "enjoy" the move into your new home and not worry about Freebs.

But for those who suffer from withdrawal symptons and building on Lisa's suggestion; why don't we have a challenge to use Xmas Word Art for the next couple of weeks or a challenge to use the word art that we have been gifted as Freeb's posting bonuses or chat bonuses - with no requirement for Tina to provide anything.

Well, it's tough enough moving, but no phone/DSL! YIKES! I'd have a Major Pout on!
So, I like the idea of doing challenges for the next month; just using all those "Freebs" bonuses, we've gotten. (Of course, Tina would have to list what those bonuses were!) That should keep us off the streets, with our little picket signs, "Will Scrap for Word Art"!

EDITED: Well, now that I went back and read the entire thread, sound like we are going to do "Freebless" challenges. (LOL, I love that word). Sounds good to me....and no pressure either. Actually suspending until after the holidays would be fine too.....

But, since we can't do that, we can give you a little less stress by your not having to work on freebs while you are moving!! We'll be here waiting when you get all moved in! well, seeing as though i haven't been able to do ANYTHING with freebs in about a month, i can't say i blame you for taking a break. man, i have had NOT TIME to scrap this month. i am hoping that i will get some time over my christmas break from teaching....we'll see about that, though! i miss you guys and i definitely wish you the best of luck with your new place, tina! :)

No probs... I haven't been able to do Freebs in eons, so why shouldn't you get a break once in a while? Take care of yourself, and good luck with all the moving stuff. We've all moved once or twice or.... We get it!!

If you're crazy, then we're crazy too. OK, that isn't saying a whole lot. ;) Face it, it is a crazy time of year, and no one is altogether sane (at least in the US) between Thanksgiving and the new year.

Yay on the new computer, dial up is a real pain though. I survived it a whole month when our cable went out, very frustrating to wait for things to load. Looking forward to new Freebs in the new year.
