I have seen some of the most wonderful pages come through the gallery lately. Pages that show someone how the other person feels about them. Here is an example from yhalos, just one of the sweetest people ever - Lifeline (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=151391&cat=500&ppuser=66369&sl=y) - which just made me feel so warm inside, that someone felt that way and I never knew it! And here is one by amyeileen - For Nancy aka Cybergram (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=151424&cat=500&ppuser=46980&sl=a) - that is such a wonderful gift from her heart, I was in awe. I think that both of these are fabulous examples of people with such big hearts, and also examples of the wonderful friendships that can (and are) made here.
So I am putting a challenge to myself, and putting it out there to whomever wants to participate, to make a gift from your heart. It doesn't have to be a layout, it can be a card or anything else you dream up, but it needs to have journaling. It doesn't matter if it's a gift to that person, or if you're doing it as a gift to yourself, to remember them by. It can be someone you've met through your travels on the DSP site, or it can be a parent, sibling, friend, basically anyone who has become something special to you for any reason. If the journaling is too personal, or you don't want to share it, that's just fine, you can blur it out or find some inventive way to "hide" it. ;)
If you use one of my December kits for this challenge, I will be making up a posting bonus just for this challenge! I'll post a link here when it is finished. This challenge will run from today until the end of the year, December 31st at midnight. Here is a list of my kits in the store...

Edited to show the posting bonus - I made a plopper for the posting bonus, it's in my gallery HERE (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=152737&cat=500&ppuser=36620), and the layout using it is HERE (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=152703&cat=500&ppuser=36620). If you make more than one layout, I might be persuaded to make another plopper to go with it...;)
