Hi,

I've been playing/learning/experimenting around and I find I can make a page easier in PaintShopPro as apposed to using a scrapbooking program - is that what others do or am I making a mistake this way? And if it's okay to make the whole page in PSP, what size should I make it? And do I need to resize it smaller to load it up to this site for viewing, and if so what size do you prefer for ease of viewing?

Thanks everyone,
Pammy

I think most of us make our pages completely in our graphics programs (PSP, PSE, PS...)

Size is mostly a matter of personal preference. DSP kits are 200dpi. A lot of scrappers make their pages 12"x12" at 200 dpi, resize them to 8"x8" for printing, and then resize them again to post here. I scrap at 8.5"x11" horizontal 200dpi because my printer can print borderless at that size - but I'm in a minority here<g>

When I resize to post here, I make my layouts 500pixels tall. They need to be smaller than 125k to upload.

Psp is perfect for using for the full page. Many of us scrappers use PSP or PSE. I prefer to scrap at 12x12 inches at 200 dpi . When I resize I usually reduze the size to 500x500pixels and use the jpeg optimiser to compress at 25 or so. It usually makes the size way below 125K which is the largest size you can upload.:)
