I got a new Printer/Scanner yesterday!

I am so excited, I have to share this! I was at a well known craft store yesterday with my mom and grandma checking things out and noticed a printer/scanner on clearance for 50 dollars, normally 200. I started checking it out and decided that I could not pass this deal up, and it turns out it was the last one, so I got an extra 10% off of that!! All of the ink to go with it was also on clearance and got two sets of refills. So my total was like, 95 dollarsish. My grandma bought it and one of the sets of refills, so reallllly, I spent 25! She said it was my early Valentine's day present :yahoo:

It is a Canon PIXMA mp500. I LOVE it!! The only reason everything was on clearance was because they tested out how well that kind of thing would sell, and apparently had a difficult time selling it all there.

YAY! My old printer is a pain, and I still like my scanner, but now that it is all together, I can put away the other two and just use this monster!

Congrats! You, my friend, got a deal! I've been eyeballing those at the very same store! You'll love Canon. I have a Pixma ip6600d (printer) and LOVE it!

Thank you! I am so blind with technology that I always leave things up to my husband. But I knew this was something I shouldn't pass up, so I bought it blindly without research and even he was impressed with it.

I think the coolest thing that I have noticed so far is 1. the quality of the photos (they actually look like i had them printed) and 2. I dont have to hook up my camera to the computer, if I put my SD card in the printer, it reads it off on the computer, this eliminating ANOTHER cord!
