Oh, am I ever sorry I overslept this one!!!!! Gotta get me some snowflakes!

Next to paper, snowflakes are my favorite things, not counting food faves of course or husbands. ;)

Been making them and loving them since I was a kid. I still have (somewhere) a page of photos of real snowflakes that my mom pulled out of Scientific American when I was a little kid. And yes, I have THE book with lots of photos of snowflakes. But I cannot pass up a pretty snowflake even today - you should see my ornament collection!!!! If only I could make in real life what I make and buy in pixel form.

All is not lost - I have a credit card, and I am not afraid to use it - until I get the bill for the second half of December. Then, all bets are off!!!!

And I have the perfect layout idea for this week's kit. So, I'm off to the store to buy a kit or three and then, before I get sucked in to the mess that is surrounding me, I may just make a layout.

I'm actually saving this beautiful kit to scrap the pictures we take on our upcoming ski trip.... but couldn't resist doing a quick page with a pic from a previous year. The kit is gorgeous... as are the crystal snowflakes. I have to sit down and write a list of when all the chats are... I'm missing so many beautiful freebs!!
