I wonder if anyone can help me, I do all my own designing for my own LOs on Serif page plus, but I can't find anyway of being able to save the element I make as a png. file so that other can use them on there programmes. Can anyone out there tell me what I need to do. I have tried pasting them into psp and removing the bkgd and saving from there but it puts the bkgd back in when it saves.

I wish I could - I have no knowledge of Serif Page Plus - I hope someone ese can help you - As far as PSP goes what version are you using?

I am using psp 8 I can copy the elements into other programmes but they always seem to put a white bkgd around them

Its probably the "other"programmes that cant support the transparency - if you have PSP8 you really dont need to use any other programme and can do most everything in that and then you wont have the problem

by PSP I mean Jasc paint shop pro. not sure if photoshop or Corel has the same initials but I don't have those programmes

Thank you I have now found the tutorial and taken off the tick which stopped anything being saved without the bkgd

PSP is now owned by Corel I believe - but was previously Jasc
