At T42 this past week we decided the group needed more direction - so we decided a weekly challenge was the way to go! For the first week we decided to do "Six of the Best" a page using 6 photographs, which must be uploaded to the T42 gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=2621) before the start of next weeks T42. The winner will be decide by you on a voting system.

During the chat I mentioned my article "Scrapping with lots of photos" which seems to have disappeared from the article section - if you would like to read it, I have uploaded it temporarily - it's a word .doc, so not big DOWNLOAD HERE. Oh, am I the first to post? I hope this chat takes off the way Heritage Chat has, I love coming to your chat, but it's in the middle of the night for me so at least with the T42 I'll be reasonably awake. LOL.

Meryl I like this challenge as often I jsut scrap with one photograph and it makes scrapping an occasion or special event a 20 page effort where using more photos on apage would help reduce that.

Whew! Got mine uploaded. I was having some wifi and/or network problems and didn't know if I'd be able to get back online or not.

San Antonio has turned into a giant ice cube! This is very un-Texas-like weather so is a big deal. Three hundred miles of I-10 were closed. Twenty-thousand people had no power because of ice on tree limbs and wires. Schools are closed. We might get one icy night every 10 years or so, but we are on our third day of ice. There are icicles hanging all over our RV and truck, but we are snug and warm inside. I may have to do another six photo layout featuring icicles before tomorrow morning. :-)

Anyway, here is the link to the six photo layout I already have done. Bling on the Beach made this one an easy one to do.

Hope it's not too late. I realized about the challenge yesterday. This is the first time that I make a two page layout. I had to shrink the layout a lot in order to have the 125k.
I made two pages with 6 pictures each of them.

Here's my LO with no people in it. The only flowers that are blooming in my garden this January. :confused:

The Snowdrops are in rememberance of my Dad,:hug: who's Birthday was 21st January. Each year on the anniversary of his birthday (and my Mums which is in October):hug: I buy a plant for my garden instead of taking flowers to the cemetary, that way we can both enjoy them everyday they are in bloom.:tup:

The Arenaria, by nature, should not be in flower at all :think: but I guess it likes living in that pot, in a nice sheltered spot on my patio. :yahoo: The Hyacinth's are forced bulbs (for Christmas).:santa:

Hi Emilie :) you need to move your LO to the T42&24T gallery before the T42 chat so that people can view it when they choose a LO to vote for Best during the chat. You can move it back after that..
