External Hard Drive for Mac

Ok guys, my DH got me an eternal HD for my mac. It is a Seagate 400GB. I really love it because I will be able to put all my kits and photos and other stuff in it. Now, I am terrified to try and install it:eek: I was reading the directions and it said something about mac users having to reformat their FAT32 files or something like that. The only FAt I want to try and reformat is the one on my body.:mad: Has anyone done this? or have any idea what or how to do this..please help..:cry: desperate .:confused:

Aw g/f, I wish I could give you advice on the mac....I can't...however, I did want to say WOW Congrats on the external!! :yahoo: I just got mine a few months ago...a relief to have....so I hope you get your answer and figger it out asap :) Also, I hope you are feeling better!!!!!:yes:

Wish I could help, but I have no idea. you might try google groups - they have a MAC section.
