8x8 or 7.90

I thought I read someplace where it was a good idea to set your numbers at 7.90x7.90 for an 8x8 could someone tell me if that is right or was I imagining it

Some people do size their layouts down just a hair to ensure they don't lose anything on the edges when they print.

I've never done that, and have no problems....I print my 8x8's on 8.5 x 11 paper though, so if you're printing on exact size paper, that might be a good idea.

I like to print on larger paper and cut it to size after printing. When I need my project to completely cover the edge - I make an extra layer the same color as the edge of my project and use that as the bottom layer - than when I trim, there is no white.
