Hi everyone,
I am trying to learn DIP9 and I'm trying the quick class for creating a basic scrapbook style page. I used the same size image as the quick class (8x10) and I have gotten to the step of adding texture after having added a background. When I choose my texture (and I chose the exact texture with advanced options that was used in the quick class example), I have to click "done" in order to proceed to the next step. However, after clicking "done" my program tells me that applying that effect will flatten the selected objects and I won't be able to ungroup the objects, or edit items. I still have to click "done" in order to proceed since my only other option is to hit "cancel" which wipes out the texture entirely. So, after hitting "done" I try to go on to the next step of adding a border to frame my image but now I can only add a border to the entire 8x10 image, not just to the particular picture. Is this because the image has been "flattened?" (I don't even know what this means) and how to I get around this? Sorry for such a long question, but if someone could just tell me what I'm doing wrong, I would be SO grateful. Thanks so much!
Andrea
