Challenge for Feb 8 2007

We had several false starts but finally chose a winner. Dawn-in-NZ won the challenge with her Then and Now about her boys. Congratulations, Dawn. There were some other wonderful layouts but we decided to enforce the "2-photo" challenge and "use one of Meryl's kits" rule.

Next week the challenge is to do a page with PHOTOS AND ELEMENTS ON AN ANGLE. No limit on the number of photos used. Try to have NO horizontal or vertical lines except the edges of the page. Be sure to use one of Meryl’s kits in the layout. Elements from Quick Clicks are allowed, but, since this is a design challenge, we ask you not to use Ploppers or Quick Clicks.

Next week I expect Meryl to be back. I loved doing this chat for her. No one acted up and no one had to serve a "Time Out". Thanks, ladies!!!

Wow thank you Laura Lou, a wonderful surprise. I thought it was just a 'random' winner challenge, glad I saw it before the due date.

Ah I see now that the LOs each week are voted on during the T42 chat - as it's at 5am my time I've only ever once attended the T42 chat so didn't realise. I know Meryl gets up that early for her Heritage chat each week so I will TRY to make an effort next week - if I remember :o

Oh oh I slept through the T42 chat this morning (5am our times)! I haven't been sleeping well because of the heat lately so I was hoping I'd be awake, no such luck!
