When is the place open where you introduce yourself?
When are the members usually in the chat room?
If I want to take a class, do I have to be online when the class is running or would I download the Class and work independantly?

HI and welcome - here is where you introduce yourself and if you click on calendar (under place) you can see the scheduled chats - feel free to join in on any or them!
Class lessons are downloaded from a particular forum thread. You work at your own pace, but a lesson is posted once a week.
Anymore more questions, just ask!

Thankyou so much. I feel that getting to know some others will help me along the way. I could definitely use a class. The pages in the gallery have are so much more three dimensional than anything I've done. Of course that doesn't amount to much yet. Choosing a class will be my first challenge. I'm sure others in a chat might have some good ideas. I have found some good tutorials on tis site but haven't had enough time to work through them.

There is a thread for introductions here - http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=279 but you can pretty much introduce yourself wherever you like!!- As Melanie mentioned the classes are all done at your own pace- some of them have a chat session that is not compulsory. Chats are normally associated with a challenge but you might find someone there just to chat with at any time!!!

It's a chat for new members to ask any questions they may have!! Or just give a shout out in the forums and someone will be sure to answer you!

Thankyou for inviting me to your chat. I think I've figured out that almost everyone here goes to bed early. I am usually on this site after midnight but I will mark this on my calendar and try to "drop in". Chatting will be a new thing for me. Now that I know where to look, I will try to catch a chat from time to time. I own a small hotel and work long, late hours so am looking for a hobby I can do on my own but I like the idea of having some association with others doing the same thing. The support has been great as I get a toe in here and there. I have been doing a lot of browsing so far and really like what I see. Thanks again. Look forward to getting to know everyone hanging out here.
