I just found the one and only picture of me breastfeeding my daughter (my mom took it by accident... she thought I was just putting her to sleep). Do you know where I can find a good breastfeeding poem that's not "too" risque?!? Thanks!
I don't know of anything, but I know where to look. Give me a little while, and you'll have mroe than you know what to do with
Saw that there were poems at la leche league (http://www.lalecheleague.org/) - also, not about breastfeeding per se, but have always liked:
"Cooking and cleaning can wait till tomorrow, for babies grow up we’ve learned to our sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep, I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep."

I did a search on Google and came up with these.....
Wean Me Gently
by Cathy Cardall
I know I look so big to you,
Maybe I seem too big for the needs I have.
But no matter how big we get,
We still have needs that are important to us.
I know that our relationship is growing and changing,
But I still need you. I need your warmth and closeness,
Especially at the end of the day
When we snuggle up in bed.
Please don't get too busy for us to nurse.
I know you think I can be patient,
Or find something to take the place of a nursing;
A book, a glass of something,
But nothing can take your place when I need you.
Sometimes just cuddling with you,
Having you near me is enough.
I guess I am growing and becoming independent,
But please be there.
This bond we have is so strong and so important to me,
Please don't break it abruptly.
Wean me gently,
Because I am your mother,
And my heart is tender.
The act of putting a child to the breast is one of renewal of love. It is a reaffirmations, each time it happens, of a special bond.

Have you seen this one. ROTLFLOL!

A little play on Seuss. And yes, it's all true! I can use the bathroom while nursing, I can type two-handed while nursing, with a sling I can even make dinner while nursing...
Now, Amber, with two, you're in for more of a challenge! Don't worry, I'll come over everyday if you need me to. Heck, I'll even nurse one for you!
Yep, done that too...
Holy cow is right. Have a good laugh at this one!
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep."You could swap the word rocking for nursing and make it fit

I love these poems! thanks because I needed some too! I don't have any pics of me nursing claire when she was younger because I was too embarrased by the thought of anyone knowing I did that! lol, now, I'm all for the Dr. Seus type poem! I've nursed in all those places and can ditto Emma (except for nursing someone elses...we thought I might but it didn't have to happen). lol Now that nursing was/still is such a big part of our lives, I want to scrapbook about it, although without pics. Too many horror stories of people getting arrested for nursing 2+ year olds. I'm not taking any chances!

Oh, rats!
This thread made me think of a lo I had in my favorites album, but I just checked and it looks like it wasn't replaced after the hacking incident. Here is the link to it anyway...

I know it had a sweet poem or something on it, but can't remember it now. Maybe someone can talk her into reposting it?
My few bf pix happened by accident, too, and none of them turned out that great. Any ideas for scrapping that memory without actual photos?

Hey! Thanks for the great idea :) I just did a layout with the cute "babies won't keep" saying and a bf picture. I posted it in my gallery here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=25952) :)
