Hi My name is Shelby and i am in Colorado. I have no children living with me and my DH is active duty Army and is serving over in Iraq again. This makes his 4th tour in 5 years!!! (I still have all those pics to scrap as well) I am looking for ladies who might be willing to put together a mega kit for farming. Here is my reason for asking for this. My father has been farming for over 50 years now and he will be getting ready to semi retire soon. I have tons of stories and photos from growing up on the farm but i do not have the knowledge to put these ideas into actual pages or designs. Normally i would not ask but I am now living on borrowed time myself and i would like to be able to put these memories down before I forget them. ( I have stage three bone cancer metastisized from breast cancer). I am only 42 but i do know what can happen next. Please if any of you designers out there have the time and or the inclination, I would be forever grateful!!! He has always used John Deere Implements and he farms soybeans and corn as well as pigs and suffolk sheep. I have lots of ideas and photos i would be glad to share. We are from IL so the land is flat..anything else you might want to know please feel free to ask me...and if anyone is up for this , then Thank You in advance!!!

Hopefully a designer will take you up on this...they often do work off of member suggestions! In the meantime, there are quite a few kits in the store that might be what you need:

Farm Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=574)
Farm Extras 1 (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1625)and 2 (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1626)
Pure Country Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1061)
Country Life Word Art (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2982)
Country Love Alpha (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2977)
Country Love Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2978)
Rustic Country (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2916)

Up with the Roosters (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4383)
Country Bumpkin (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?
main_page=product_info&products_id=656)

I just did a search in the store for "country" and "Farm" and all sorts of things turned up!

These ones aren't particularly farm oriented but I bet they would be useful:
Eat Your Veggies (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=veggies)
Apple of My Eye (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2916)
Granny's Pudding (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=granny%27s+pudding)

Hope that helps!!!

The link for apple of my eye was not the right one... so here it is... Apple of my eye (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2656)

Also there is the Apple Jam Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1715) that is absolutely awesome!

I am not sure if what your are asking for is a kit or help scrapping. But if it is a kit remember all the tons of freebies. Even though they aren't exactly farm kits I am sure you could use some of them like old world charm and make a great book/page.

Thank you ladies, I have already purchased these kits and have incorporated them. I am mainly looking for more specific items though since he has only used JD products and he is a grain farmer as well. I appreciate the input and the help. Thanks

Are you looking for people to help scrap a page? I would be willing to do that. I am a cancer survivor who should not be around. I know and understand how you feel. Please PM me if you need someone to talk to or need anything else. I would love to help.

I was hoping that i could get ladies to design some things so that i can actually put the pages together, but if I have offers for making pages then I wont turn those down either...I am trying to get as much done as possible and I dont have the time to learn the programs. I use the Scrapbook Flair program and it works fine for me. But as far as designing I only have alot of ideas not the ability to make them come to life. I hope this better explains what i am looking for. Once again ladies THANK YOU for your interest and replies.....

I don't think that the designers can actually do a John Deere Kit because of copyright stuff, but maybe one of them would be willing to do a green and yellow kit with some generic tractors or farm equipment, also some corn stalks, pigs, goats, sheep!! I think a kit like this would really help you out!! Also, I would be willing to help put a page or two together for you if you get into a time crunch.
