I scrap 8.5x11 but, I really like the look of the 12x12. Is it possible to scrap a 12x12 page and then print it like an 8.5x11? I have heard of people doing this before but, I can't figure out how. How would you do that so that your page won't cut off?

I am using the Pixel Magic Software from DSP, right now.

Thanks!

What you can do is scrap the 12x12 and then shrink to 8.5x8.5 to print it if you want to put it in a scrapbook you already have going.

Another thing I have done is scrapped in 12x12 and then shrink it to 8x10 (or 8.5x11) and use the background paper to fill in. You can either center your original layout or put the extra all to the top or bottom, depending on your layout. If the negative space is too much, you can add ribbons, embellishments, etc. I have done this, especially with some of the Quick Clicks that I liked that were sized for 12x12.

Like Maggie said - I scrap in 12x12. When I'm finished I'll save and then I'll go to resize image and change it to 8x8. Then I'll go to file--save as and save in a different folder or different name so I still have both my 8x8 and my 12x12, but I just print the 8x8 on my computer!

How would I resize? I use Pixel Magic and have been scrapping in 8.5 x 11. I like 12 x 12 but, I wouldn't know how to resize these to print 8.5 x 11. I couldn't find a resize image!

Thanks!

You'll need another program to do that. Irfanview.com is a free program you can use.

One other thing I do in Photoshop. Let's say on the computer you are making a 12X12 file. If you want to keep your original large size, when you go to Print you can reduce the size that you want to print by a percentage. Check out the Print Preview, it will show you by what percentage to fit on the paper that you are printing on.
