OK all you Flylady fans...when you're feeling down and can not think, put a smile on your face and shine your sink:)
Does a shiny sink make you smile? It certainly works for me!
Here is my layout of my Shiny Sink (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=165015&cat=1718)

Can you come to my house? :)
Better yet, how about all you fly ladies come on down to North Carolina for some practice. You can have free reign in my home :)
I've done fly lady before but unfortunately I didn't stick with it. I think you may have just inspired me to pick it back up again.

My house is too much of a disaster for even Flylady, I'm afraid.

yeah, I need you at my house too. I am always falling behind on my dishes. I try to stay on top of things but there are days that that sink at the end of the day is piled up high with dishes. I know, gross! It's just never ending along with my laundry! I just find it's easier at the end of the day to do everything then to do it all day long. I know stop whining.!

The one thing I have learned is that a clean kitchen is not a state of being it is a process. As long as you have a system aka *routine* and do something at a regular interval you will know that at least at one point each day or week or whatever, your kitchen will look good. Then what happens in between doesn't really matter. You know it will all get taken care of next time.
One reason my house now stays neater is that my dd is in college and my ds has moved into his own house. For some unkonwn reason with them not here the house doesn't get messy. Well that is not totally true...my ds came over the other night to have dinner and watch 24. He was like..."don't you want to pick up a bit before dad gets home?" I thought who is this strange kid who wants to pick up and where has my real son gone??? So maybe he has been a bit fly washed too.

Well, I cleaned out the sink this morning as I know I did it last night but my husband works nights so always leaves me dishes. I washed Victoria in the sink when it was all clean and ready. Even took photos. Once that was over with my husband again takes up stuff from his office. Again the sink is dirty. I clean that out and not only 5 minutes later lunch is eaten and again the sink is dirty. I just get so fed up.

Well sometimes you don't get what you want, usually sinks get dirty in time and it's hart to take off old spots. I am thinking to make a serious change in my kitchen and buy a brand new copper sink (http://www.myrecipe.org/copper_sinks.html). Perhaps this way i'll get rid of old spots problems.
