T42 Challenges for next two weeks

The challenge for next week is "Cut Up Photos" - two examples from my Gallery (sorry, easiest place to find!) my elephants (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=57330&cat=500&ppuser=24) and giraffe (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=57846&cat=500&ppuser=24) in Kruger National Park - photos which are a series, or have you have "cut up" - one tip - be sure not to cut through something "important" eg between, through eyes, this can look quite awful....

For the following week, I find it hard to describe - sort of close ups, detail eg a photo of just eyes, just feet..... get the idea? I can't find any examples right now, if anyone has a link, please post in this thread!

The two challenges were descriped in the chat as Slicing (Challenge 1) and Dicing (Challenge 2)..... culinary scrapbooking....:lol: :lol: :lol:

I looked in the gallery after I posted this and realised I hadn't got the idea at all, but never mind. I was thinking along the lines that the window frame was slicing up my photo, but I see that was not what was wanted. Still, I had fun doing it and don't want to waste it:)

Please will you all forgive me if i don't come to T42 this afternoon? For those of you who don't know, my dear Dad's funeral is tomorrow (Friday). He passed away Monday evening after a stroke 2 months ago, a very peaceful passing, surrounded by family. I am busy going through the gallery but quite hnestly just I just don't feel up to chatting right now.

I am sure one of you very capable ladies, Laura? will count the votes for me? The topic for next week is set :)

Dawn- Carma won this week's vote with her great slicing LO. This week we are to "dice". I'm told it means chopping out a bit of the photo and using it. I'm sure others could explain it better!
