SOS! I need some help asap to transfer my complete 12x12 digital pages from my Hewlette Packard program to a file so I can put them on a cd to send out to get printed, or so I can send them from home to get printed. This is my first time doing it and I have a 15% off coupon for a new place and it's due March 1 so I've been making pages like crazy. PLEASE, PLEASE, somebody help me!! Thanks in advance for your help Barbara:confused:

Barbara,
You need to go to file>export page and change the format to a JPG :)

Thanks Amanda, but I'm not sure how to do that, except to save it to the web. That's how I change things to jpeg for ebay. I've gone to file>export and ended up with the whole page, all of Hewlett Packard including the digital scrapbook page and all that surrounds it, in a funny looking thing under my documents that kind of looked like a movie project. When I opened it I saw not only my finished product, but all of the dodads for Hewlett Packard. This was not going to work to send my finished product anywhere, that I knew. So how do I get just my finished work into a file? This is my first time doing this, I think I told you, and these are my first digital pages. Also, I had some trouble with kits when I combined them. I had some where the items went under items from another kit!! Must I always stick with the same kit? and how do I know when this will happen? Too bad if I have to stay with the same kit. Thanks so much for your help. I'm so excited that I know what I'm doing finally. I have purchased a lot for this site, it's good to be able to use it finally. I'm not an expert, but I'm good now. That only took me over a year, and some lessons from the "Geeks"! Barbara bhiland@mercydetroit.org  It also took me hours to find this place again, although I found your email faster!

What HP program are you using Barbara?

Hi Amanda! I had a hard time finding you. Not very good at finding my way around this place. I'm using the HP Creative Scrapbook Assistant that came with one of the Starter program I purchased from here. It was a two set cd program. But I lost my shapes. I wrote HP and they said to reload it, but I'm not sure where I got it from! I wrote dsp if it was from them, I think it is, but have not heard from them yet. So I just keep making my pages without my shapes. Not so bad. Finally figured out how to scan and enlarge my pictures. I'm a nun, a Sister of Mercy, and we're having a day where the artists are selling their items. I'm more of a crafter but I'm going to sell my pictures, plus some of my digital scrapped pictures. So I got my picturs from Rome out, I'll have to take some out of my Scrapbooks from Israel, and from my camping trip across the country!! I'll digital scrap all of those. It should be intereting to see what the people think of my work! Well, I'm rambled enough, my roommate says I do. If youknow how I can get my shapes back, I'd appreciate it. I'm thinking of trying to get them from the practice section, just not sure how to. Glad to meet you! Barbara

The CDs are either called Scraps of Digital or Pixel Magic depending on when you bought it and yes - you will just need to find the cds and reinstall the software if you lost your shapes.
