I used to get most of my inspiration from paper layouts at 2 peas and scrapjazz and in magazines but I find myself looking less and less at them lately ( despite my huge pile of magazines and my hopeless addiction to buying them) and more and more I am getting inspiration from completely non scrapping related things like fabric, billboards, natures colours .
When scrapping for myself I get my inspiration from the photo more often than not

I am not really a creative person, until I get going. lol, here and with my paper scrapbooking, I find inspiration from challenges or learning a new technique. I'm doing a paper CJ and have been struggling with a layout for weeks, getting close to the end when I need to send it on. Yesterday, I found the instructions for an mini accordian album to make (paper sorry) and I just rocked out that layout! Here, the add-on challenge really helped me get that layout going and I really like how it turned out! so, that is me, scraplift, CASE or learn a new technique! lol

I get most of my inspiratoin from the photos. If the photos are completely telling of where I want to go...my process usually takes a bit of getting it out i'll play around with the different papers and extras to see how it works then rework etc.

This is a tough one for me. Some photos, I can look at and know exactly what I want to do. Or I find a kit that I love and know what picture will go perfectly with it!

however, Im having a tough time with inspiration for vacation pictures. They just seem so boring to me. I love the pictures that we took but its so hard for me to sit down and scrap them!

I guess my main source of inspiration is other LO's! I feel just so uncreative sometimes so looking at what other people have done really helps me out!

This may sound totally goofy, but I was in Houston last week and went walking around in one on the shopping malls. I saw this really cool sweater with pinks and greens. Well, I didn't buy the sweater but I did start creating a really cute kit with pinks and greens. I have to admit, that was the strangest inspiration for me. :D

WHAT?! No sap?!!!!

"My greatest inspiration is my husband and precious children"

I have no clue what inspires me. Sometimes I feel like scrapping, sometimes I don't! Lately, I don't :) A week ago, I did! I try to use my own idea sketches I make from advertisements and other sources mentioned, but I never use them. I never look in My Favorites gallery for ideas, I rarely surf for ideas. Perhaps I'm too lazy...

Sometimes I'll "see" a layout in my head, but I never remember it later to scrap it!

Ditto Emma...It's My Family who inspires me...I am so Blessed to have such a family, I am not real fancy, I just like a certain Pict and I try to inhance it and let it tell the story...When all else fails I ask The Lord for some Guidence...Before I know it I have a Layout

Inspiration seems to come from odd places, songs, sayings, ads, TV, or just the story the picture tells. I'll think about photos I want to scrap for quite awhile and the story they need to tell, and then I'll find a kit that matches and it works. The quick crops end up being some of my favorites because I'm forced NOT to think about it too much, and I just find photos that match the kit somehow.
