Props and Prompts:Dream Challenge {March 6-20}

What are you DREAMING of? This prompts and props challenge focuses (rather blurrilly, ha ha) on DREAMS. Now, we all know Dreams can be interpreted in many ways, and this challenge is no different! Your Prompt is to scrap about:


A vivid dream you have had that left a lasting impression or even changed something about your life or attitude later.

A recurring dream you've had all your life or for a long part of your life

A portion of something in a dream you've had that you can relate to something else you want to scrap about

The weirdest dream you've ever had (and remembered, that is!)

Or, taking another view of Dream:


A lifelong "dream" - something you'd like to do, have, or a place you'd like to go - the dream house, vacation, whatever.

A Dream Come True - something you've longed for or worked hard to get to your whole life and finally achieved.

You may participate with any digital products you like, but a posting bonus will go out to those who use Shabby Blooms (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5061) by Beth Nixon, or A Different Me (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5076) by Elizabeth Weaver.

You may also use either of those kits and post a layout by the deadline in the Prompts and Props gallery without using the prompt (that is, make your layout whatever you want it to be using either of the featured kits) and still get the posting bonus.

My Mum always took us on one caravan holiday each year and my brother and I always longed for the site to have an open air swimming pool so we could play and swim together all week. It was like a dream come true when we arrived and found that there was a pool! These are internet photos as I haven't any photos of my brother and I together when younger.
I've really enjoyed this challenge using Elizabeth's lovely 'A Different Me' Kit, but I found it really hard to come up with my own design after doing lots of Scrap the DET challenge LOs. But I did do it and I am very pleased with the results. :yahoo: I have omitted any journalling because my graphics program was struggling with the size of this design (probably becasue there were 6 photos). You could create a page with a copy of the space available for the journalling to know the size/shape. Close down all else and do the journalling on a sep. layer.
Then re-open the page and copy/paste the journalling onto it.
This will work in DIP10 so should work in other programs.

For this challenge, there is a chat bonus and a posting bonus.

SO, if you were at the chat, you got the Quick Click Framer.
If you posted using either one of the featured kits, you get a posting bonus of the frames that Z made.

I'm sure Z will stop in and get caught up with the posting bonuses soon!

BUT, keep your eye out in April on the weekly freebies and you may just find a little something that coordinates with Shabby Blooms!
