I just wanted to let people know about a printing service for 12 x 12 pages! The quality is really great on thick photographic paper. I got my first prints done and was really surprised after getting laser prints done locally. They were really good! The web site is http://www.geocities.com/prints_12squared/
They are digital scrapbookers and have a link to the digitals site!!
Thanks

I know I'm a little late for this conversation...but I LOVE LOVE LOVE where I get my pages printed off as well and they do 12x12...personally I do 8X8 inch pages..
www.sbtoshare.com
The quality of the pages is wonderful and the customer service is absolutely the best...I'll never go anywhere else. They are out of Boca Raton, FL. Hope it helps!

I guess I'm old fashioned, but I still like the Shutterfly 12 x 12 books. They even have a format now just for scrappers.

OH HO! So glad to have a testimonial on this company! I ran across them last week while researching all the possible printing providers (I teach dig. scrap 'in the classroom' for folks in the midwest...and they always want to know where to get their projects printed). For the past two years we've been using Costco ($2.99 for 12x12 and 2 6x6 images), but not everyone has access to Costco (we affectionately call our area of the world the "land that time forgot"!)
Jenni-how long have you used this company? did you get a set of their samples first or just jump in? what papers have you tried and how do you feel about the quality of the paper, of the printing, their timeliness...etc...etc... I'd really like to know more!

I don't give out glowing recommendations unless they are worthy and I'm tellin' ya! You will not be disappointed with this group at sbtoshare.com
I did order a sample first and while the cardstock is really nice, I keep my pages in the page protectors so I don't feel the need for the cardstock. I have always used the matte paper. I didn't see any real difference in the look of the page between the glossy and matte and the weight of the paper is the same and the cost is less for the matte....at least it used to be. They may be the same now.....either way, I like the matte paper and that is what I'll stick with.
It's a husband and wife that run it and I have e-mailed them with questions before. I always get a response, usually within an hour or two. My orders are in my hand in less than a week every time. Also, I have to comment on their attention to detail and honesty. Once I accidently sent a low resolution layout mixed in with 30 good ones and they caught it and asked me to send a new one. The last order I sent so many layouts I lost track of how many there were. I told them there were 35 pages to pay for and they sent me the invoice. Two days later I got an e-mail with a refund as they had counted and there were actually 34. They are just awesome!
Another thing I do have to tell you, they print with a small white border around the edge as to not accidentaly cut anything off. I don't mind this but some people don't like it. You can request "full bleed" without the boarder, but I think the border gives a "clean" look. They also cut the pages to the size you order for you. I alway order 8x8 (keeps cost down and makes my books more "managable"). I used to go to FedEX Kinkos and the cutting was a pain. Plus the quality of these is MUCH better.
I hope this helps....if you have any more questions feel free to pm me or e-mail them. They would be happy to help. I liked you comment about the area that time forgot. I'm right there with you! SE Minnesota. I wish we had someone teaching scrapbooking! I would LOVE it!

Can anyone recommend a place to print out 6x6, 8x8 and 12x12 scrapbook pages that is either in the UK or will ship to the UK?
Thanks

Here is their response concerning shipping to the UK...
"Yes we can ship to the UK..we ship www.usps.com and it looks like 2-3 lbs to the UK would be $23-30 dollars per order. I would recommend that they order a lot each time to balance out the cost of shipping per page."

I use a Canon i9900 that prints 13 x 19 paper. I print on Epson Photo paper. 100 sheets for $35.00. Once they have beenput in an album there isn't a lot of difference from using the much more expensive album paper. I print zillions of them. I really love. I then print it in aan 8x8 for the coffee table and for gifts. I love my printer so much!

I had been doing scrapquick (didn't like the quality!)and just tried a new website called http://www.howfasttheygrow.com. My sister sent me a link b/c they do baby book templates (beautiful pre-designed pages) but I also discovered they had blank templates, so I tried uploading a couple of my own pages and they turned out beautifully. They charge $7.50 a page but there's a coupon on classymommy.com called "classymommy" where you can get 20% off, which brings down the price to $6.00. I will def. order more and I have passed on the link to all my friends who need to do their baby books!

BethaniB makes an amazing assertion based on my review of my customers at ScrapQuick.com. Since we are new and small, I actually can remember most of the print jobs we have done....I *personally* do all the customer service and the actual printing as well. After reviewing all print orders since we started, there is no one in my customer base with the name Bethani...and I have had personal contact with almost everyone customer who ordered prints.
I think I was perfectly upfront that I was posting on behalf of my site and I followed the rules by not posting a link. I'm guessing the post above this one is an affiliate who is getting referral dollars for posting. Some affiliates allow forum posts and some do not. I'm not against affiliate programs (I am an affiliate for one good digiscrapping tool - ACDSee) but I don't think it's cool to try and make a slam against another company in order to get affiliate dollars....especially if the claim is a lie.
If I am in error and the poster DID order prints from my site, I invite her to contact me via the contact form on my site and let me know what she did not like about the prints she received so I can rectify the situation as soon as possible.

Thank you for posting your recommendation! Having been newly lured over to the 12x12 side from 8.5 x 11.... I didn't know where to start to get my pages printed. A glowing recommendation is definately helpful!!! Sounds like a great deal to me. So you just get the individual pages printed and then place them in a regular 12x12 scrapbook like they sell at any department store?

I have them printed in an 8 x 8 inch size....personal preference, lower cost, and "managable" book size. I have them printed and place them in a normal 8x8 album....it would work the same for a 12x12. One follow up from my previous post which was from a while back. My last order I had them do the "full bleed" just because I was curious. I won't do it again. I think it's much "cleaner" with the border and on a few I think just a tiny bit was cut off. I'm picky with my edges so I noticed immediately. I still love them, use them, recommend them, but go with the border.

MPIX.com is a great place for printing 12x12's. They are a division of Miller’s Professional Imaging, which is the largest professional photo lab in the US. I stumbled upon them several months back while searching for places to print 12x12's. I have used them for several printings now and have been very impressed with the quality, cost, and quick delivery.

Are you able to order these online from Costco? Great price!

Yes, you can order them online from Costco, but the quality is not great and it varies from store to store and who at that time is working there. The paper is very thin. I wasn't very impressed. I use Bay Photo, located in Santa Cruz California. Their can be found at bayphoto.com Excellent quality and customer service.

Hi! I'm not in the UK, I'm in Jacksonville, FL, but a lot of my business is with out of state clients. I have a business that scans 12x12 scrapbooks to print copies or to put onto DVD's (to view as movies or just as data files). Please check out our website at http://scrapbookspapertoplastic.com.

Ok, I've made several layouts, time for me to print! I am going to be doing a 12x12 album for a friend's birthday. When I send my file to be printed, do I keep it in psp format, or export to JPG? Is there a file size I should make it sure stays around? Some of these files are several meg. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi! It doesn't matter what format the files are in. It also doesn't matter about the size, though the bigger the size, the longer it's going to take to e-mail. But neither of these affect the printing. Let me know when you're ready to print. It's just $3 per page and then $3 shipping per 15 pages. The quality is amazing! I just upgraded my printer and I'm even surprised with how stunning the quality is. Feel free to e-mail me at printorpreserve@scrapbookspapertoplastic.com or just use the "contact us" button on the website. THanks for the interest and I look forward to serving you!!!!!
