Help with photo restoring!

I am trying to scan and restore photos that are quite old. They have a red or pink tone to them. Does anyone know how I can get them to look a little more clear better? My sweater and the chair are supposed to be red, but look a little purple. I am using PSPXI.

I had a fiddle but the colour cast is beyond me! So I changed it to grayscale, added more contrast and brightness and added unsharp. I used PSP9. :)

Oh my gosh! Thanks I will have to try that. I have about 10 pictures taken the same day and they are all the same color.

I did what I could with your photo butfor the life of me can not figure out how to post it here for you to see. At least the tree shows green now and the bike and sweater and bulbs on the tree look red.
