Okay with the loss of my laptop, I have now realised the few chores that I definitely put off to scrap. I cleaned my double doors yesterday afternoon (glass) and have just finished really scrubbing the bath-tub. And I vacuumed. So come on, be honest, what household chores do you guys putt off to scrap? I can't be the only one... Any one game?
cheers

I was in the middle of cleaning out piles of books and magazines and papers when I started this a little over a month ago. Guess where the piles of books and magazines and papers still are? Not to mention the bathroom, the vacuuming, the laundry that gets put off...

Laundry! I don't have a W&D in my apt. so I have to go to a laundry mat. It wouldn't be so bad if I could throw a load in and sit at my computer between times. *SIGH*

I keep putting on a load of washing, go to the computer, then hours later, when it is dark, remember I havent got it out of the machine. So the kids have no sox, undies, towels ..... Not to mention cooking ... what's that again?

cleaning out the fridge or the oven ...
Uh oh, that reminds me. I don't think I've cleaned the inside of the oven in quite some time. I better......no wait, there are more important things. Like the big old birthday bash here!
I hate cleaning the oven, so this gives me good excuse not too! Can we have a DSP birthday more often please? :yahoo:

Pretty much everything is neglected! I figure I can clean while the kiddos are playing, but they won't let me scrap in peace. I get it done during my daughter's nap and while the boys are at school. On my Kindergartener's off days (he goes T, Th, and every other Friday) we play on the "puter" together during Brooke's nap. We have the computers sitting side by side. :-)

I manage to turn a blind eye to almost everything most of the time. However, this weekend I have managed to persuade DH that he HAS to clear out a room in our house which can only be names the computer museum! He LOVES computers so much that he cannot bear the though of getting rid of them once they are well past the useful stage of their lives - but come tomorrow, if I have my way they WILL be history - but of course I will have to be there with him otherwise it will never happen, so today is no scrapping Sunday for me
Cleaning?! Ha Ha! Luckily I have no one around to complain or put me in line...then again, maybe that is a bad thing...maybe that is why I am surrounded by papers and school books and oh yes, my suitcase that I still haven't unpacked. I did do laundry...but that is still sitting in its basket. I think my tower of CDs that are falling over is a sure sign that I need to clean a bit!

Actually Ive made progress - I have to admit to being pretty poor at the housework stakes - and I still am - cant teach an old dog new tricks - but Ive taken to being firm with myself - when I get up in the morning and have my shower - I clean the bathroom as I go so I know its done for the day - and I make the bed before I come down - I had become really bad at coming down and starting work with a coffee before the kids got up but then never actually making it back up there to do the beds- the kids are old enough to make their own so I dont do theirs any more - Its not much but its one step in the right direction!!

Weeeeelllllll, my wonderful hubby does most of the cooking and sort of cleans the bathrooms, so I don't have to worry about those. However, I've forgotten what color the carpet was originally because of all the dog and cat fur on it and our backyard has turned into a JUNGLE!

Chores....chores.....OH! I remember those!! I knew there was something I was forgetting!! :) Hey, if the hubby and kids have clean clothes to put on, clean sheets to sleep on, and food when they're hungry, I'm all good, right? Just don't ask me to find my carpet, I'm pretty sure the toys are growing right out of it. That's what happens when your 2 year old waters them, in case no one knew that. :D

Too funny! We should seriously start a contest showing what we have neglected while we are scrapping! House pictures come to mind....and kid pictures come to mind. My six year old son had a friend over after school yesterday (they were content so I was scrapping) and it was a while before I realized my three year old daughter had come out of the restroom and was bugging them to let her play...all while wearing nothing on her bottom half! Pretty bad!
If I start mentioning everything I've neglected since starting to scrap, I probably wouldn't have time to scrap. I will say this though, my sink is in very similar shape to Prodigals.

Oh! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does the early thing....I get up to work out at 6:00 but I'm at the computer at 5:30 so I can check everything out before that! We are hopeless...but having a great time aren't we??

I delegate, and some things we just forego. (Like making beds.) But we split all the chores because I just refuse to clean up after 5 people! I just usually get stuck with the hardcore cleaning!
