A Whole New World Challenge (Deadline Sat, April 21, 07)

THE CHALLENGE: Spring is here and it is a time for Wonderful new beginnings. The world is fresh and new, the winter is over, new babies are being born, new flowers are coming to bloom, Easter is on the way and the world is new again. Hunt down those special pictures that remind you of the wonder of life and create a layout that inspires you. Think flowers, growth, newness, babies, weddings, graduations, dreams, ambitions - something that reminds you life is starting fresh!

DEADLINE: You have until Saturday, April 21, 07 Midnight EST to post your LOs.

KITS: You may use any kit, preferably a DSP kit, and please ensure you provide proper credit and use keywords where available. There is lots of great wordart available in the store for inspiration.

GALLERY: Post your LOs to Odds n Ends Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3365)(you may double-duty for other challenges and post in other galleries but we would love you to post here when possible) However, you MUST POST A LINK to your LO in this thread whether it is posted in the gallery or not. NOTE: Only new LOs will be eligible for the bonus and draw but you are fully welcomed to post your old LOs to the Gallery as well for us to see

PRIZES: There will be 2 random prizes for gift certificates, of $3.99 and $1.99, to the DSP Store which will be drawn after the deadline.

Here are two layouts that I did of my wonderful Grama Elsie! The first one is when she worked at the telephone company, her first job as a young woman. The second is right before she married her first husband, my mom's dad. She looks so deep in thought! Probably about her new life as a married woman about to start! She was always such an inspiration to me and I miss her terribly.

This is my daughter on her wedding day (over 15 years ago now). She has had cerebral palsy since birth, resulting in quite severe physical disabilities, so marriage and children were certainly a whole new world for her.

This layout is of my best friend as she is getting married...she has a look of deep thought and contemplation of her face and i thought she might be thinking of her new life ahead of her as a married woman...i used the lovely kit called Grandmothers Garden by Lauren Bavin because it is sooo spring to me with its cute dragonfly and little lady beetle and lovely fresh green tones....hope you like it!!
