I'm new here and just wanted to say hi. I'm also thinking about participating in some challenges. What is the most efficient way to find out about all of the available challenges?

Hi and welcome to DSP. This is a great place,warm,friendly, and many talented artists willing to share their knowledge and time . As far as challenges..if you are new to scrapping in general, you might want to consisder NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK (NKOTB) which you can find in the forms list under challenges. But you can really enter any challenge that attracts you. Check out the tutorials section under THE CAMPUS. These can be your best friends. LOL. And ask any question you may have here in the forums. Again, welcome. Will be looking forward to seeing your gallery grow.

Welcome!! IF you want to find out everything going on there is a forum called Site Info and there is a thread in there each month listing the current months challenges, contests, and all sorts of other helpful information!!

Welcome - challenges are a wonderful way to experiment and get some layouts completed. The link from Amber would be the most efficient way to browse current challenges - most are also described here in the forums. So glad you found DSP, be sure to ask questions and also check out the links "new to digital" and the tutorials - there is a lot of information shared.
