I have been working through the basic tutorials and have figured out the 'magic fill' tool to change colours
I can change font style and size But can't see where I change STROKE size in the text addition box.

Also can you go back and edit the text once you have created it in the new layer
Appreciate any help

You can change the stroke in the Tools options box. You can go back and edit text as long as you leave it as a vector layer. Select the text tool and then double click on the text you want to edit.

:) Thank you Vivian this worked great.
Playing around with Fill and stroke practice as I type and now probably going to be burning the midnight oil.
This stuff is addictive !!!!

Glad you're having fun! There are a ton of ways to edit text. I cover a bunch of them in my Intro to PSP class, DSU 130, as well as fun Stroke/Fill effects to get artistic text.

Try Objects>Properties to edit text (have the text Vector layer active in the Layers Palette). It's the same as editing the text and using the Options Bar and Materials Palette, just another way in.

Have fun! It IS so addicting :)

Emma,
When I go into Objects at the top it only has heading like align, distribute, group etc. no specific 'properties'. Is there a specific property area I am missing ???
really appreciate your assistance
